As a Workplace Studio Design Director and Technology Practice Area Leader in the Houston office of Gensler, Mark oversees projects for some of the firm’s most agile and brand-centric clients across North America. Past projects include workspace for Amazon, Twitter, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Microsoft. His work has been honored by Interior Design Magazine, IIDA, NAIOP, and Contract Magazine. Gensler’s local portfolio of co-working and incubator projects include Station Houston, Serendipity Labs, TMCx and JLABS.
Mark, originally from Los Angeles, holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cal Poly Pomona, College of Environmental Design. The founding college faculty members such as Richard Neutra, Raphael Soriano, and Craig Ellwood placed special emphasis on the connections between architecture, people, and the environment. Mark’s Cal Poly education is the foundation for his work today -- creating office settings that promote rich emotional experiences, working smart, and human wellness.
